The 6th one-day Conference-School of Young Scientists “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures and Methods of their Diagnostics”

July 3, 2019, St. Petersturg, Russia

The 6th one-day Conference-School of Young Scientists (CSYS’2019 ) entitled “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures and Methods of their Diagnostics” will be traditionally held in the frame of the 14th International Conference Advanced Carbon Nanostructures” (ACNS’2019).

The School heads:

Corresponding Members of RAS, Prof. Viktor V. Gusarov

Corresponding Members of RAS, Prof. Mikhail V. Kovalchuk.

The School scientific secretary:

Vladimir V. Shnitov.

The official language of the School is Russian.

Any participant of the ACNS’2019 conference is allowed to attend all events and actions of the School. At the same time, direct participation in the work of the School is available only for young scientists (not older than 28) whose abstracts are related to “Diagnostic techniques of Advanced Carbon Nanostructures” and accepted for the “Conference-School” section. It is worth noting that such participation is independent of the participation in the main Conference and does not require any registration fee. It also should be noted that all accepted for the School abstracts are traditionally published in the book of abstracts of main ACNS Conference.

The one-day scientific program of the School is comprised of several tutorial lectures and the session of young scientist posters which includes special preliminary part destined for brief (1-2 min) oral presentations of each poster. Several presentations evaluated as the best ones will be awarded with the certificates of merit and valuable gifts.

The tutorial lectures will be given by highly qualified invited experts. The scope of these lectures covers not only the description and results of various diagnostic techniques widely used in research of advanced carbon nanostructures, but also the most promising ways of such structures fabrication and practical application. The electronic version of these lectures (in English) will be available for all participants of the School.

The list of the lectures to be presented on the 6th one-day Conference-School of Young Scientists, CSYS’2019, is the following:

  1. Anatoly L. Vikharev, Institute of Applied Physics of Russian Academy of Science (IAP RAS), Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
